My IP (159.203.44.31) blacklisted by UCEPROTECT-Level3 ...

I am a professor at UQAM, one of four universities in Montréal, Québec. I set up a website with a CMS called ghost. It is used by about 100 students and staff for academic purposes (publishing in two journalism classes).
Students cannot be invited to join the site by email. My university blocks the emails sent by the CMS, because it is hosted by DO on a droplet whose IP is blacklisted by UCEPROTECT-Level3. I have done nothing wrong. But I pay and cannot benefit from the full hosting service as promoted.
I am sorry to say I will terminate my account with DO at the end of the current semester (Dec ‘21).

Hello, @journalismeuqam

Mail providers should not check against UCEPROTECT’s blacklist database and even if the IP address is listed there you should not have any issues with the mail delivery. The third-party will also charge for the IP removal from their site.

If you have any bounce back messages you can paste them here so we can check them. You can also reach out to our amazing support team and they can assist you as well.

Hope that this helps!
Regards,
Alex
