Have you got PHP 5.4 or higher installed? Wordpress needs this to show the pages.

I don’t know the version of my PHP, how can I check it?

The version PHP 5.3.3

Since I migrated my WordPress blog to digitalocean server, the blog is inaccessible, is with the all white screen, without anything appearing.

As’m not having access to the panel, I joined the FTP and renamed the folder “themes” and “plugins” of the blog, but even then the screen went all white.

So I did a fresh install of WordPress, and thus cleared the previous database, creating new tables, and so the blog back on the air, but without the data from my blog: topics, posts, plugins etc.

I tested activate the theme I’m using in WordPress, and saw that it is precisely the theme activation leaving the blog does not work, causing becomes all white. I want to reverse this process by turning off the topic directly by phpMyAdmin, by the database since I’m no longer having access to the Panel, how I do it?

  • You didn’t tell here you migrated your old website…… If you got relevant information, please also provide it then. This probably caused the wordpress White Screen Of Death.

If you can’t access your Administration Screens anymore, access your website via FTP or SFTP and navigate to the /wp-content/themes/ folder. Rename the folder of the currently not working theme to something else and rename a default theme to the currently not working one. Once done your site should be live again.
