DigitalOcean Let's Encrypt Security Control Panels Ubuntu 16.04

Hi guys! I have created an empty droplet with Ubuntu 16.04. I have installed Apache, MySQL, PHP, Webmin and Virtualmin. After that I installed a SSL/Cert using this guide. Let's say that my domain is example.eu , https://example.eu, https://www.example.eu, https://server.example.eu work perfect but https://server.example.eu:10000 returns an invalid certificate. I tried multiply times to install my SSL/cert on Webmin by configuring the settings in Webmin->Webmim Configuration -> SSL Settings and even though I get no errors and everythings seems to work fine I restart Webmin and my certificate is still invalid. Only in Webmin.

How are we supposed to help you if you refuse to disclose public info like a domain name?

  • Hi Woet. I am sorry but I thought that I should disclose it for security reasons! my domain name is nekdev.eu

    • Your Webmin cert is self-signed. See https://doxfer.webmin.com/Webmin/Let%27s_Encrypt

P.S: Using Webmin is more insecure than disclosing your domain name.

      • Thank you for your answer. I have tried many times to install the cert from Let's Encrypt Tab but in vain. After the succesful installation of the cert I restart Webmin and the cert in still invalid.
Note: The first time I installed Webmin I installed the Let's Encrypt cert succesfully. After that when I install Virtualmin I have this problem.

P.S: In your opinion should I avoid installing panels?
