Hi @priyachauhan13009,

I’m not entierly sure what you mean and what is the problem but let me try and explain DNS and Nameservers and how they work, it might help.

When you change your Nameservers from one provider to another, in this case from NameCheap to DigitalOcean, what you do is you tell the world your DNS is hosted on DigitalOcean so anyone trying to open your website, sending you mail and so on will look at DigitalOcean for your DNS records. This is the place you want to have your proper DNS records added. Now, if you’ve added both NameCheap’s and DigitalOcean’s Nameservers to your domain, this will result in a conflict and you’ll get different results. As such, I’ll urge you to use only one set of Nameservers and manage your DNS from there.

Additionally, please note DNS can take up to 48 hours to propagate.

Hello there,

To begin with, once the domain nameserver is pointed to the DigitalOcean platform then the website will not be working on the old DNS server. Here, I would feel that the complete database snapshot is not migrated to the DigitalOcean platform.

Additionally, Whenever you make changes to the nameserver or to the DNS records, it will take at least 24 to 48 hours to complete the propagation.

I hope it helps!
