Question
New installation. Can't change or use current UNIX password.
If I log in to the ubuntu server via ssh, type in the password from the mail everything works fine. But as soon as I type in my new password, where it says “(current) UNIX password: ”, I am losing the connection and it says “Connection to 167.71.xxx.xxx closed.”.
This does not work for me either. When I do access the Access, it doesnt show any password. The only option is to reset root password, which doesnt change the error i’m having. Please advise.
I just want to start using my centos installation but whatever I do, it just closes the connection.
