Not able to ping 2001:4860:4860::8844 after setting ipv6 address to /etc/networking/interfaces

IPv6 Ubuntu 16.04

I follwed the article to enable ipv6 address to my digital ocean machine. The link of the article is below:

But still I can't ping 2001:4860:4860::8844.
$ ping6 2001:4860:4860::8844
