Not able to ssh, connect to droplet.

Suddenly, my website is down and I am not able to connect to my droplet through ssh. I can not ping either.
I can only access digitalocen’s web console only.
When I try to ping to, it says “Temporary failure in name resolution”
I can not ping to any internet sites and can not ping to either.

I have also raised a Ticket seeking for support’s help.
Please help me out to resolve this please.

Hello, @vaibhavrprabhune

Have you made any changes to your droplet configuration like modifying the network settings? I assume that rebooting the droplet was not able to resolve the issue for you and you’re only able to access the droplet via the console as you’ve already mentioned. Do you get any errors when you try to reboot the droplet?

Also since you’ve already submitted a support ticket our amazing team will contact you and should be able to help you solve the issue.

    I am not facing any issue while rebooting the droplet. I could do it easily.
    I did not change any network settings recently. It was working fine till today morning and suddenly the droplet became unreachable and website is down.

    Looking at few other responses, I just checked few settings mentioned in /etc/resolv.conf but did not update anything.

    I am looking forward to get support at the earliest as my website is down.
    Any help from support is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for replying here.

    But unfortunately, I would like to mention that, since last almost 10 hours, I have just received one response from our amazing support team.
    That response asked me to execute few of the commands in order to trouble shoot the issue.
    I executed those and shared the outcome within 10 mins and since then, I am again awaiting for the reply from amazing support team.

    I am emphasising on the fact that, this has made my website (and business) inaccessible to the world and that is affecting me a lot. Even though, I have neither heard anything back nor had any support in order to resolve that.

    And, this has become an indeed CRITICAL issue for us and digitalocean is not supporting me sadly. This is quite disapponting and frustrating for sure.

    I hope (being your client since last one year) now, after this message, I would get some support from amazing support team quickly to resolve the issue.

    Still hoping best from amazing team!
