I know that’s kinda cryptic, though we don’t want to push it out until it’s definitely ready for everyone to use for both personal and production workloads :-).
Why announce it everywhere when there isn’t even a date or pricing information? One of those startup business tactics of sending out an announcement press release to gauge interest, then build it?
Whatever it is, I hope it has an API compatible with S3. If it does, I can use it immediately. If it doesn’t… I might just see how it shakes out first.
Magically importing from S3 would be amazing.
Very curious to know what pricing will be, especially transfer to/from DO. I’m hoping free transfer from private IPs, and $.02 per GB/month. Pretty please.
