Office 365 DNS records on DigitalOcean DNS Management

Posted on June 3, 2013

Does anyone know the correct format for TXT records on DigitalOcean’s DNS Management? Do strings w/spaces in them require quotes around the entire TXT value? For example:

@ r=abc1 include:xyz.protection.example.com -all

  • or -

@ “r=abc1 include:xyz.protection.example.com -all”

  • or none of the above?

@Etel; thanks! The Office 365 deployment assistant did not recognize the TXT record until I formatted it as you suggested.

I would recommend including quotes around the txt record.
