Hello, I have a working domain name for my company “xx” (staging.xx.us) and two working droplets. One is for staging and one that’s live (currently the live one is assigned the working domain shown above–when you browse to xx.us it’s redirected to staging.xx.us and I don’t know how). The staging one I am accessing directly by it’s IP address and canceling the prompts for me to add a domain name and such every time I open it–last time I tried that I had to restart with that droplet, luckily I’m making backups). I am unsure how to go about getting the new droplet (one click WP so basically a clone of the live site) setup with the domain “xx.us”. I would also be happy to “swap” the droplets where the new one is used as live site and the other as staging if that’s easier! I see that the working domain was registered with GoDaddy by someone else on my team, would I need to make any changes there to add DNS records for the main domain I now want to start using and already own? Thanks in advance!
