OwnCloud not working with Chrome

January 11, 2015 2.2k views

My ownCloud seems to be working fine in browsers like safari, but it isn't working in chrome for some reason. You can't click the login button and If you do manage to login somehow no files show up. Im running Owncloud on nginx and neither of them give me any errors. cloud.zombay.org is the site I'm having problems with.

Thank you for your help, Zombay.

  • What version of ownCloud are you running? My instance running 7.0.4 doesn't seem to have this issue. Is this an upgrade or fresh install? How was the instance installed, using the packages or from source? You tagged "One-Click Apps" but you also mention Nginx. Are you using the Roundcube plugin? I've seen some reports that it might be causing a similar issue.

This might be something better reported as an issue against ownCloud itself on GitHub.

  • I used a fresh owncloud 'one-click' install, removed apache and setup nginx. I'm not using the roundcube plugin. Im running Ubuntu ownCloud 7.0.4 on 14.04.

    Thanks, Zombay.

  • Anything I can do ? I still don't know how to fix this.

Actually the login button doesn't work for me on firefox either. I check chrome and firefox and it seems like the login button is disabled see screenshot

Pretty sure the issue is nginx related. Still no idea how to fix it tho.

Same here, login button somehow is disabled on chrome, and works on any other browser. However, it did work like a day ago on all the browsers without any problem and I have not changed anything recently on my server. It is very strange.

I am running it on Apache
