We’d be running 2 machines, 1 being Kali linux and the tools within and the other would be Windows 10 and we’d be running Vulnerability Assessement tools like Nessus and BurpSuite. We’re wondering if Digital Ocean is right for us.
Currently we’re looking for:
- 2 Droplets with Dedicated IPs
- Desktop Environment on Linux (If possible not VNC) and Windows 10
- Yearly price range
- Limitations on Traffic and actions performed from your services.

DigitalOcean billing cycles are monthly. Your account balance accrues over the course of the calendar month based on the cost of the resources you use. DigitalOcean also required by law to apply taxes for certain countries.
DigitalOcean automatically invoices and charge your account’s primary payment method on the first day of each month for the previous month’s usage, or partway through the month if you exceed your account’s usage threshold. You can learn more about that here
As for the Desktop Environment. You can use a Linux machine however, Windows machines are not supported on the platform.
