I am getting hundreds of hits on my server over time that generate an error like the one below. I removed my username from the error. These files that are showing up in my error log, don’t exist on my server. Is someone hitting my server, and if so, how?

Hello,
Indeed it looks like that someone is trying to exploit your site. It is most likely a bot scanning for backdoors.
What I could suggest is blocking the IP ranges that you see in your access logs and also making sure that your website is fully patched so that if this continues they won’t be able to find any exploits.
Regards, Bobby
