I am getting some help with my website but the provider only uses ftp, not sftp. What is the best way of enabling temporary ftp into a file path?

The droplet was setup as Centos 7.0 and the site is located in /srv/http/
I am not a technical user and had this setup and now need assistance to troubleshoot the website. The person who set this up is not available now, seeking a simple solution. Thanks!

use VSFTP, but to be honest no good provider still uses FTP.

Here is a Guide, process is pretty much the same as with CentOS 6.5

Vsftpd is a fast and secure FTP server. Installing an FTP server can assist you with uploading files to your droplet. This tutorial describes how to install and set up vsftpd on CentOS 6.
