Regarding pre-pay options

Posted on March 4, 2015

Hello,

I am planning to deploy droplets on hourly basis, since I will not be needing them online the full time I will be saving their images and destroying the instances.

If I do that, I believe I will be saving my credit.

After a month, even if I have balance credit in my account, will I be charged via my credit card? I do not want to be charged if I have credit in my account. Is the billing system pre-paid? If not, how can I benefit from the hourly plans?

On the first of each month an invoice is generated based on your usage with droplets billed at their hourly rate (capped at the monthly rate for each droplet). Your card will never be charged as long as there is credit on your account to cover these charges.

Credit card payments are a post-payment method. Paypal can be used to pre-load credit on your account.

Hello there,

We accept pre-payment using PayPal but you cannot use it as your primary payment method.
