Registering domains on behalf of my customers (hosting)
I am setting up a hosting platform using DO for my clients that don’t want to manage their own sites. I want to know if the recommended approach is that I use the DNS services (which I can get at programatically) or if I should rather make use of the DNS services provided by the domain registrar. It would be far easier to manage all the DNS entries on behalf of my customers by them pointing to my own “vanity” name servers for my company which in turn point to DO’s name servers.
Specifically, there’s currently a limit of around 100 odd domains I can create on the platform without requesting more. Is this approach considered “okay” or not?
