Restored from snapshot. IP address changed. Site now down. Please help.
So I initially started my droplet without backups enabled a few months back. Yesterday evening I decided to finally do the whole
- Take a snapshot
- Destroy your current droplet
- Create a new droplet and restore from snapshot
Unfortunately, I lost my original IP address in the process. So I updated my DNS on digital ocean and my web host to the new IP.
Despite this, I can’t access my site from either the new IP address or the domain name. It just shows a white screen with continual loading.

I can access my droplet via terminal.
Is there somewhere on the server / wordpress database, that I also need to change the IP address or is it something else?
I’d really appreciate your thoughts, as we get a significant amount of traffic, and we’ve now been down over 12 hours.
