Hi everyone, we are trying to recover the password to access the server but we are unable to recover the root password, how can we do it without resetting the server?

Just to confirm, are you following the guide here:
https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/recovery/recovery-console
When you click Reset Root Password it will reset the Droplet’s password and you will receive an email containing the Droplet’s temporary password.
If you are not receiving the email for any reason, I could suggest checking your spam box.
If the reset email password is no where to be found, please reach out to the DigitalOcean support team who will be more than happy to assist you with your issue! :)
