I try to figure out how to set a subdomain.
Take for example the following configurations:
| case | hostname | value |
| #1 | @ |<droplet-ip>:8000 |
| #2 | *.sub |<droplet-ip>:8000 |
case#1 fucntions as expected. Case #2 doesn’t.
I’m not sure if it is related, but it doesn’t function if the primary link (case#1) in place is linked to the same IP or to another IP.
Any return as to what I am doing wrong?
