I have a wordpress site which has at least 300 online user instantly. Whenever the online user increasing, pages are loading so slow. Sometimes I’m getting blank page after 2-3 mins loading. (monthly pageview is almost 3 million)
Here is environment: Droplet (16GBMemory, 8 CoreProcessor, 160GBSSD Disk, 6TBTransfer) Ubuntu 14.04 x64 Apache latest version Wordpress latest version
I also tried pagespeed mode, gzip enabled, http cache enabled. Also tried redis cache.
The main question is Apache the right decision? Should I chose nginx?
An another question is should I follow this tutorial and scale my environment or if what is the best scaling tutorial?
I would like to hear what is your suggestion?
