I installed phpmyadmin as in https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/one-click-install-wordpress-on-ubuntu-14-04-with-digitalocean
but when I want to login it returns #1045 cannot log in MySQL server

Are you sure your credentials are correct? What user are you connecting as? You can find MySQL’s root password in /root/.my.cnf.
