Spaces and monitoring

According to your documentation (at https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/spaces/):

750 requests (any operation) per IP address per second to all Spaces on an account

I am developing and testing but now and then I am getting the message “Slow down your request…” I know for a fact that I am not making 750 requests per second - so why am I getting these messages?

My second question is; how can I monitor or get an idea of how many requests I am actually making? Preferably a granular chart would be great, with counts of PUTs, GETs, POSTs, etc. I haven’t been able to find anything in CP regarding this.

we have the same issue for a week now. until then it worked for 2 years. space is showing up 503 slow down. we monitored all outgoing requests to the space from our server. 40 in 2 hours. DO keeps on telling me, we should reduce our calls. they cannot provide anything regarding logs or insights. spaces are not usable at all for any production environment. we are moving right now.

Ok…no answer from Digital Ocean…and I am still getting this response. Conclusion - Digital Ocean services & support are not reliable. Time to move to Linode…
