What is the reason for this report?

spamd: server killed by SIGTERM, shutting down

Hi,

I’m receiving this warning every day: spamd: server killed by SIGTERM, shutting down

I searched in google and saw that more people have same warning, but I not found any solution.

Why happen this?; this is a error/problem?.

SIGTERM is used to kill a process. Usually, when a droplet is under load it will start killing processes that take a lot of Memory(RAM) or CPU so that it doesn’t die. In your case it seems the reason for the high load was soo big the droplet didn’t manage to kill everything it shutdown.

In these cases, I’ll recommend you to either find the source of the issue or upgrade your droplet.

About finding the source of the issue, it would mean you’ll need to track what exactly is happening, what is causing this load spikes. The best way would be from inside the droplet itself.
