When using Putty, commands are randomly quite slow. This doesn’t happen when I’m using the recovery console, and CPU usage is relatively low. I pinged my digital ocean droplet on my local machine and got an average response time of 114ms. useDNS is set to no, and I’ve restarted/rebooted my droplet several times. I was using it just fine this morning, and now it’s acting up for some reason.

Hey there!
It sounds like there may be a network issue between you and your droplet. This typically is the cause for slow speeds in Putty. You can check that by running a MTR from your local machine to the droplet to find out where if any network issues exist. How To Use Traceroute and MTR to Diagnose Network Issues
You can also try using another network to see if you are seeing those same issues.

Are you still experiencing the issues? I don’t see any network issues with Droplets so I can only assume it was related(possibly) to your ISP but I might be wrong?
I’m asking as it might have been due to some temporal issues which have been resolved?
