StartSSL Digital Certificate, Dose this go in the browser. I re-installed Linux on my desktop and the Authenticate button at StartSSL.com dose not work anymore. I probably have a backup if I restore the old .config/google-chrome-beta from backup wil I get my info back to authenticate to StartSSL.
What directory were my keys stored to get in my DO droplet.
I’m sure I can find both if someone can help me a bit on how to re-install them.

From what I have gathered, you are trying to install a certificate from StartSSL.com. You want to install it on your server so that you can use it to sign SSL connections? The digital certificate that was generated by your browser in sign up is only used to authenticate you to StartSSL’s website, it does not serve as an SSL certificate for your website.
I did it once just forgot what happens to let you back into StartSLL site. I found it and imported it back into the new copy of Chrome browser. I still don’t know were it goes when you import it to chrome, but it works now–I can return to StartSSL. I still have the certs in my droplet for http:// And I think my files in ~/.ssh are the ones that let me us my old SSH login to my droplet instead of user name and password. This what you get for running a droplet for months and then reinstalling your desktop. Won’t happen again I went to Arch–wont be wiping things clean anymore.
