Hi, I have done the subdomain setup according to the tutorial on DigitalOcean but I am not able to ping on new subdomain at all. The worse is that it is not found on the DNS tools even. Its been over 10 hours now and there is no way I could solve this issue.
I simply added the A record for my existing domain with sub and then set up on Apache.
Some how the sub domain is also not showing up in the ‘Domains’ section of my droplet Domains list. I am not sure why so. Looking for expert opinion.

Is your domain using DigitalOcean’s Nameservers? In order to use DNS here in your DigitalOcean account, your domain needs to be using the proper Nameservers:
These nameservers need to be changed where your register is, basically where you registered your domain.
You can use any whois tool on the internet to check the DNS of your Domain as well as the Nameservers. If you are wondering how to change the Nameservers on your registrar’s platform, please check the following tutorial, it should be able to help out:
