I pointed a new domain over to my Digital Ocean server for my Wordpress site yesterday morning. After the DNS propogated, everything was working fine. It worked for about 24 hours, but now I am getting a “This site can’t be reached. countrybred.com refused to connect.” error. I have pinged the IP address and it works, and I have done nslookup, and everything seems fine. I checked my domain (countrybred.com) on https://www.whatsmydns.net and everything is fine except I get a red x for CNAME. I deleted and re-added my CNAME record which was just for the www version of the address, but I’m still getting an error, and my site still won’t load. However, if I go to an old page on the site, using the IP address, it will load (i.e. http://64.225.43.38/places/switzerland/). Please advise what I need to do to get the main site to load: https://countrybred.com

Hello @holepunchdesign
We see that the site is loading with the IP address, but not the domain. It could be because the web server configuration might be having issues. Please refer to our Community article for detailed instructions https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-apache-virtual-hosts-on-ubuntu-18-04-quickstart
