Hi,
I have been trying to follow the process to install ELK and it fails once I get to the part where the kibana package is downloaded and installed. I a certain the repository path is set correctly (“deb http://packages.elastic.co/kibana/4.4/debian stable main” | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list) but when I attempt to get the update, the following errors appear:
W: Failed to fetch http:/packages.elastic.co/kibana/4.4/debian/dists/stable/Release.gpg Unable to connect to :http:

Any ideas on what’s happening here? Seems like the host is down…
Thanks!

It does seem that way. Are you still having trouble with this. In my own testing I was not able to replicate this issue and the URLs listed above resolved and returned content as expected.
