Ubuntu 18.04.3 (LTS) x64 console is not registering vertical bar (|) or smaller then (<) instead it is showing (>) everytime we type these.

Hello members, Ubuntu 18.04.3 (LTS) x64 console is not registering vertical bar (|) or smaller then (<) symbol instead it is registering (>) every time we type these. What went wrong?

Hello,

Alt + 1 2 4 should work for you.

Also, it is not possible to copy or paste text using the remote console. It’s recommended to use the remote console only if you absolutely need it. Otherwise, you should use SSH to log into your droplet.
