Unable to add TXT record having k1._domainkey

Posted April 1, 2020 1.5k views

Hello members,
I am unable to add a TXT record having k1._domainkey. After pasting value & hostname, everything is showing green checked but while creating the record it says “Sorry! Something went wrong!”. Please suggest a possible solution.

Hey there! Sometimes you can see this error when your session is stale, can you try completely logging out of your account, logging back in, and then creating the record? If you still have issues, create a support ticket and send us the domain name that you’re working on, and any screenshots so we can take a closer look!

  • Thanks for the reply. I have tried all the instructions given by you but still the error exists. I am sharing the screenshot with you. In fact I am unable to create any kind of record.

    • Thanks for sharing that screenshot! Based on that image, it looks like there’s a past due balance and this will prevent you from making changes to your DNS. Once the past due balance is paid, you should be able to add that record without any issue.

If you continue to have problems, definitely open a ticket so personal data is not shared here in the Community Q&A.

  • It would be awesome to add this information to the “something went wrong message”. Would have saved me a lot of frustration.
