DigitalOcean Managed KubernetesDigitalOcean Managed Load Balancers

I am unable to create a Load Balancer from a kubernetes service. I keep getting this Error syncing load balancer: failed to ensure load balancer: failed to create load-balancer: POST https://api.digitalocean.com/v2/load_balancers: 403 You are not allowed to perform this operation.

I also attempted to create a loadbalancer manually, this also failed. and the error message gave me no insight as to how do I resolve this issue!

Hi there,

It sounds like it might have been a temporary problem. Are you still seeing the issue?

If this is the case, it might be best to get in touch with the DigitalOcean support team:

  • no, just tried to recreate it and its still throwing the same error.

I wonder if this is a part of the trial version limitations??? and if so, how do I activate my account?

    • Hello,

Indeed in this case it is possible that it is an account limitation. As mentioned, I would recommend getting in touch with the support team via the link above.
