Hello. We built and maintain a site for a client.
Client is unhappy with the current server package, an ASO Quad Core - 100GB Storage - 4GB RAM - 2TB Bandwidth (LAMP stack).
They want more speed / stability
Current traffic to the site is 200K - 225K per 90 days.
Daily traffic is around 2.2 - 2.5K, but they see spikes of up to 1K more when they host webinars.
We’ve used Digital Ocean for other sites we manage. Like to give this client the right rec. Thoughts welcomed. Thanks.

Hi there,
For some extra server power, I would personally go for the CPU optimized Droplets or for the Premium Droplets which come with premium Intel and NVMe SSDs.
This would give you more dedicated CPU power and ultimately better performance.
Additionally, I would look into optimizing the server configuration. For example, you could consider switching from LAMP to LEMP, upgrading to the latest PHP and MySQL versions along with tweaking the configuration files for all services and enabling PHP OpCache. Also adding website caching is always beneficial for the speed.
