Using snapshot doesn't return correct web page

Posted on July 3, 2018
I am trying to use the snapshot to recover a personal website. After creating a new droplet and setting up the apache2 environment. I get a apache2 test page rather than my original web page(located at the /var/www/html).
Any suggestions for solving this issue are appreciated.

 System : ubuntu 16.04
Config file under apache2-available-sites : direct to /var/www/html

Best regards, peng

Hello,

You would need to make sure that your website content is actually in the /var/www/html folder.

You could do that by first connecting to your server via SSH, then go to that directory:

cd /var/www/html

Then list the content of the directory and make sure that your site’s files are actually there:

ls -l /var/www/html

If your files are not there, you should redeploy your website.
