Hello.My name is Mary.i wanted to ask that when i created account it got temp blocked.they said to fill the form and i did and waited.now they say good to have you as digital ocean customer but they did not unblock the account and further say to send them a picture . but i don’t want to do this.is there any other way to get account unblocked? otherwise i have to choose some other service provider!!!

Due to fraudulent accounts, spam, etc – DigitalOcean has pretty tight security measures in place and from time to time, they do require physical verification of the account holder.

Since this is the user-to-user community, we wouldn’t be able to provide you with an alternative as the majority here, short of those with a mod title, do not have any way to access or further verify your account.

If DigitalOcean’s support team is requesting photo verification to unlock your account, then that’s an item you’d need to provide them with. It’s not specific to DigitalOcean though – many providers are using the same means to verify accounts.

This is a one-time deal, so you shouldn’t need to reverify afterwards.
