What’s the tech stack behind most grocery delivery scripts?

I’m curious about how these scripts actually work under the hood. Do they use Node.js or PHP for the backend? How do they manage live order tracking and notifications between stores, drivers, and customers? Would love to know if it’s better to customize an existing script or code from scratch.

Most grocery delivery scripts use Node.js or PHP for the backend, React/Flutter for the frontend, and WebSockets or Firebase for live tracking & notifications. Off-the-shelf scripts are faster, but coding from scratch gives more flexibility.

Hmm am wondering the same thing. From what i seen a lot of them seem to use a mix of PHP or Node.js for the backend, some kind of MySQL or MongoDB database and React or Vue for the frontend. But honestly i am not 100% sure about all of them. Do you think using a fast web host makes a noticeable difference for these scripts?
