Question

Where is this 100mb file upload limit coming from when trying to upload a file in WordPress?

I set the file upload limit to 512mb in php.ini. I am trying to store .flac files on my server as part of a music store. However something is enforcing a global 100mb file upload limit and I have no idea where it is coming from. Does anyone have any idea?

Hi there,

There are a few settings in your php.ini that you would need to update:

upload_max_filesize = 512M
post_max_size = 512M
memory_limit = 512M
max_execution_time = 300

You can then verify that the limits were increased by creating a info.php file in your public directory:

<?php

phpinfo();

Then visit that info.php file via your browser and you will see the PHP configuration and limits.

Let me know how it goes!

Best,

Bobby
