Which server OS fits best for java web application?

Hello
I got java web app that runs locally on apache tomcat 8. The question is which OS i need to select?
I'm novice in such things, so question may look little noobish

Since you say that you are novice, The best choice would be Ubuntu it is very user-friendly.
The distro you choose would actually make a very small difference to the application you are using, however your productivity can vary drastically between the distro.

In short : UBUNTU 14.04
