white screen of death for wordpress

It’s 1am, I have been at this for hours. I am losing so many users.

I am getting the white screen of death at http://torontoboozehound.com

I am using wordpress. Its a droplet with an install that had a bunch of stuff added later.

Here is what happened:

I got the site up and working beautifully.

There was a permissions issue with uploading images. I fixed it.

Uploading images and the like worked fine. I added a new post, it worked great.

I upgraded wordpress. This worked fine as well.

All was good.

I then deleted a plugin. p3 or whatever.

SO my first thought when I suddenly hit the white screen? It’s the plugin. I go ahead and rename my plugin folder. In most cases this would fix the issue and then I go ahead and reactivate.

No. Of course not. That does NOTHING.

so it’s somehow not plugins.

I then go and rename the theme folder to default to the 2015 theme.

again nothing.

I decided to reupload core wordpress files… I reupload wpadmin and wpconfig

nope.

Ok, I try updating index.php

again nothing…

can’t seem to get any kind of debugging thing going. Just a blank white screen.

The files are all there and I am at my wits end.

Please help!

I can’t lose wpcontent and I can’t lose my databases. There are a lot of posts and it would absolutely destroy us if they left. I’m going to try and back up wp content tonight but it will take forever… dunno how to backup the databases, maybe I can figure it out.
