Hi, I’m running Ubuntu 14.04 x 32 - 2 GB Memory / 40 GB Disk / NYC3 Droplet. Every blue moon, my server (websites) go down and I have to restart the server via Terminal ssh using command » sudo reboot. But today my sites went down again and I can’t even connect to my server via terminal, FTP or the DO console access. I get this error > Failed to connect to server (code: 1006) from the console access but the status says active in the DO dashboard. I have no Idea what’s wrong or how to access my server to restart it. Please any help would be much appreciated.

If you are ever unable to reach a powered on droplet from the console you should open a support ticket. Our support team will be able to investigate the problem and help to resolve it quickly. Without any access to the server, error logs and messages, or other vital details there is not enough information to know exactly what is occurring.
