I am having trouble understanding why there’s a detailed article for installing Composer on an Ubuntu server. Cannot Composer be installed for all users on a server by simply running apt install composer?
Or, is there a benefit/advantage in installing Composer using the manual method described in the article that I am missing?

It may be desirable to have the latest version of Composer, as this isn’t something that interferes with normal system functionality by bypassing repo versions. The version installed by this article will be newer than the one installed via apt repository.
