Hello, @hakanceliker

At the moment your MX is not working/resolving. Would you mind set the MX record to be domain.com instead of mx.domain.com and then point to mx.yandex.net

You can also monitor the DNS propagation using any website like: https://www.whatsmydns.net

Keep in mind that DNS changes might take up to 48 hours in order to fully propagate. This happens because of DNS cache from ISPs. However it usually happens a lot faster.

Let me know how it goes.

Alex

Hello Alex;

Nothing is changed after one more day. It’s more than 72 hours and i couldn’t make Yandex see the MX records.

I will try “yandex.com” instead of “mx.yandex.com” and sadly, wait for 2 more days :(

Regards…

  • Hello, @hakanceliker

You need to follow the exact instructions provided by yandex. From what I can see from their official docs the MX record should have the value of: mx.yandex.net

I’m not sure if you’re following this tutorial or if you’re using another one:

    https://yandex.com/support/connect/add-domain.html

    Record type: Name: Priority: Value:

     MX @ 10 mx.yandex.net

So basically you should not use mx.yourdomain.com for the MX name but simply use “@” or the domain name. The MX record in the DigitalOcean control panel should look like this:

Hostname: Mail Providers Mail server: Priority: TTL:

    @ mx.yandex.net 10 14400

Note: I’m not sure if you need to use mx.yandex.net or mx.yandex.com as mentioned and listed in the article link I’ve sent the one mentioned there is .net

You can see more information about the MX record using this link:

    https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/networking/dns/how-to/manage-records/#mx-records

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,
    Alex

Hello Alex and thank you.

Changing “mail”.devreguvenlik.com.tr" to “@”.devreguvenlik.com.tr helped me.

It works now…

Thanks for your patience
