To check that, log in to your droplet as the user “root” and run the following command:

sudo tail /var/log/apache2/error.log

Then post its output here.

Hi! Are there any errors in Apache’s error log?

sudo tail /var/log/apache2/error.log

sudo tail /var/log/apache2/error.log this is the master key which I needed. @kamain7 Thank you for the solution. It really helped me a lot. If it wasn’t there fo the rescue, only God would have known the original problem.

Thanks, really helped me out.

@kamaln7 : You saved me a lot of time!! I was getting mad trying to understand what was going wrong! Really thanks a lot

Check your RewriteBase and your RewriteRule in .htaccess file. Sometimes Wordpress adds the folder name of your Wordpress install as a RewriteBase. Just replace it with /

clear your browser data first like cookies ,history, and saved password and then tray again you can access your site url… if this will not worked you will have to do in your ftp… recreate the file and you will gain access again its prrty simple

Just removed .htaccess file and problem is not fixed.

It says there is error on /wp-admin/options-general.php but I don’t know which error it is.
