The 502 Bad Gateway error means Nginx is having trouble loading your application/website for some reason.
To start troubleshooting such an error, I’ll always recommend checking your logs. In this case, you should start with checking your Nginx’s error log and then take it from there.
Usually, if you haven’t moved them you can find this log in /var/log/nginx/error_log. What you need to do is, tail the log and reload the site, then your error should appear:
tail -f /var/log/nginx/error_log
...
Reload your Website
