Someone setup my servers using ServerPilot and Digital Ocean, then abandoned the hosting management job. For months I’ve been dealing with the Digital Ocean server going down. Today, Digital Ocean emails me saying they rebooted my server, and I immediately check and see that all my sites are down with 502 gateway error.
I don’t know how to fix the connection error and Digital Ocean refuses to help me, but I’m helpless and cannot help myself at this point.
I’m now 5 hours into the sites being down and Digital Ocean basically telling me they won’t fix the problem that they caused because the servers are unmanaged.
I really really need an angel. I’m so frustrated.

It is mostly Apache that went down and Nginx showing the error message. Login as root via SSH (or use the web console) and enter the following command:
service apache-sp start
This should make things work.
