Question
A DNS Query - Two Sets? - Confused
I’m hoping to get some clarification on how the DNS panel works here.
So I have a domain registered and in it’s DNS settings, I’ve added the NS, A, MX and other records.
My question is, why do I have this option to do it in the DO panel? What’s the difference from adding them to the DO panel, to adding them to my registers panel? Does the DO one overwrite it?
Just a bit confusing.

DO Offer you nameservers, it just means you can use DO instead of your registrar to keep all your settings in one place. You would have to change your domain’s nameservers for the DO ones to take effect. The domain would still be at your Registrar.
Thanks for the reply.
Excuse my ignorance here.
So if I add the DO Nameservers to my domain registrar, I can then add the other types of records to the DO panel? And then obviously some time to propagate.
