hi im pretty new on web devolpment and i have red the mysql policies, and found taht actually mysql is not free at least before the 5.7 version, but in my droplet i have a mariadb with version 10…0.37, so can i have legal problem with this?

Thanks so much for sharing your question here, as it can help others who find themselves with the same one. To the best of my knowledge MySQL has always been available without cost in all versions. I’m saying “to the best of my knowledge” as I admit to not following the project from day one, but for myself I can say that I’ve been using MySQL with an open source license since 2011 which definitely predates 5.7.
MariaDB is a fork of the MySQL project, also open source and without cost.
