What is the reason for this report?

One of our users is reporting 500 errors when attempting to access our App Platform app. Does anyone know what is involved in accessing http log files reflecting our network traffic?

Hey @9740c53767b5413ab3f58b506dcdfc,

You can view basic logs on your App Platform. Check the following article to help guide you through the process:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/app-platform/how-to/view-logs/

Those are the logs you can view as of now. You can suggest any other logs to be added if not present using the following link:

Hope that helps! - KFSys.

Hello @9740c53767b5413ab3f58b506dcdfc

HTTP 500 errors generally mean there’s a server error. For checking logs on your App Platform application, you can use DigitalOcean’s App Platform’s Logs panel. Here’s how:

  1. Navigate to the Apps section in the DigitalOcean Control Panel.
  2. Click on your App.
  3. In the Components tab, click on the name of the component you want to view the logs for.
  4. Click on the Logs tab, this should display logs for your app.
