What is the reason for this report?

Hi I am a new user of Digital ocean, I have some questions, and would be glad to help me.

  1. I bought a server on Amesterdam3 (AMS3), but now I don’t want to use it anymore, how can I cancel my droplet and refund? I don’t want to be charged any more for this particular server.
  2. I saw in my account I have 200$ credit for 53 days. I am not sure what does that mean? during this time, whatever I bought is free? 3)I already bought two servers, ( each 5$) and provided my credit information. Still, no amount was reduced from my card. I wonder how it works? I am afraid at the end of the month something strange happened and you charged me a lot. I want to know when exactly you are charging me and how can I check my bill in my account.
  3. If I bought a monthly server, and at the end of the month I don’t want to use it anymore, how can I cancel it? If I don’t cancel anything, do you automatically renew my usage each month?
  4. I provided two tickets about my issue with my account and after 1 week, nobody responded to me. ? I would be thankful if you clarify these matters. Regards Roshanak account: roshanak878@yahoo.com

Hi @roshanakrabiee,

  1. In order to cancel the Droplet, you just need to destroy it. Regarding a refund, I’m not sure that’s possible but as soon as you destroy it, you won’t be charged for it.

  2. Whenever you have a credit in your account, this is what’s going to be used until you’ve used it all. Regarding the billing, DigitalOcean billing cycles are monthly. On the first day of each month, we invoice and charge your account’s primary payment method for the previous month’s usage. More about that here:

  1. To cancel a server/Droplet, you just need to destroy it, that’s it otherwise your subscription continues.

  2. Regarding tickets, if you provide me with the Ticket Number for reference here, I’ll try and speed up the process for you.
