How do you properly add an MX record for mail.domain.com?
I have added MX Priority 5 mail.domain.com. (with the trailing dot)
Do I need any other records?
I have 3 A Records ( @, www, and mail) all pointing to the ip address of the droplet, and the standard 3 NS records pointing to nsX.digitalocean.com The website works fine, but setting email up on the server and getting errors so I figure make sure the mail.domain.com is set correct first off.
Thanks in advance,
Dave

As you already have an A record pointing to mail.domain.com, you would need to set the MX record like this: MX 0 domain.com (priority can be 0 as you have only one MX record)
I am not sure where your DNS is maintained, so, depending upon the provider, the trailing dot at the end of domain.com may or may not be needed
