Created a couple of droplets in amsterdam to find that the IP addresses are mapped to Russia? Is this always the case?

Your droplet is physically in the Amsterdam Data centre. <br> <br>However, the IP your droplet has is from a new IP block we acquired just recently. <br> <br>The organization responsible for updating the geography of IPs moves at its own pace, and we have no influence over the speed at which it makes the geographic changes when IP blocks are reallocated between organizations. <br> <br>Unfortunately, the only thing we can say for sure is that the information will eventually get updated.
Thanks for the response. This means eventually the IPs data will show Amsterdam?
